AMEC selected for Taysan CopperGold Project in the Philippines


Perth, Australia (12 October 2010) - AMEC, the international engineering and project management company, has been selected by Crazy Horse Resources Inc. to act as study managers and process plant consultants for the Taysan copper-gold project in the Philippines.

The study includes the provision of process plant scoping level designs, costings and implementation strategies over a six-month period. The AMEC Minproc team in Brisbane will undertake the study, supported by its high value engineering centres in Asia, including the Philippines. The study commencement is subject to the completion of the client's acquisition of a 100 per cent interest in the project.

The Brisbane office is also currently undertaking engineering and procurement activities for the Ban Houaxyai project in Laos, and is assisting Kentor Gold in the development of its Andash project in Kyrgystan.
