AMEC appoints new commercial manager

AMEC is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Gerazounis in the role of commercial manager for AMEC's Minerals & Metals business in Africa. Gerazounis will be based in Johannesburg and will be responsible for all commercial functions within the local office, including the negotiation of contracts, identification of contract approvals and risk management.

Speaking on his appointment Gerazounis says: "I am proud to be joining a company of AMEC's stature. AMEC is an international player, with major operations in the UK and the Americas and offices in around 40 countries worldwide, and the South African office is a node of expansion and a gateway into Africa. My goal is to further establish our capabilities in the region continuing our solid growth in Africa."
