AMECs Shane Forth wins Association for Project Management annual award 2013


London, United Kingdom (5 November 2013) - AMEC, the international engineering and project management company, is pleased to announce that employee Shane Forth has won the Association for Project Management's (APM) Geoffrey Trimble Award at the APM's annual awards ceremony held in London last night.

Darlington-based Mr Forth has been with the AMEC for 20 years and is the Head of Project Controls in AMEC's Clean Energy Europe business. He said: "I am delighted to receive this award. The more recognition project management and engineering receives, the more an inspiration it will be to young professionals."

Clive White President of AMEC Clean Energy Europe business added: "Recognition for Shane is fully deserved and does not come without considerable dedication and technical knowledge. AMEC is fully supportive of training and development which benefits the individual, the company, society and, not least, our customers."

The APM Project Management Awards 2013 recognise what people can achieve through project management and have been celebrating excellence in the profession for over 20 years. The Geoffrey Trimble Award recognises the best Master's post-graduate dissertation submitted for consideration during the year.
